The Museum Of Power

This week our group visited the Museum of Power in Maldon, Essex to have a look around. We have been asked to choose a steam powered engine to promote and enhance for the museum. Our group will choose one of the many steam engines on display to model and animate within 3ds Max.
Upon entering the museum we were given a short tour and looked at the different steam powered engines on display. As a group we picked one we found to be quite interesting.

The engine is a 'Joseph Evans Reliable Steam Pump' and was built in Wolverhampton, used in South Wales as a 'Crude Tar Pump'. The pump dates back to the the late 1920's and was used in service until the mid 1980's.
